Arguably the best hotel in the region, the stunning Likya Residence is a glorious adult-only retreat*, yet just a short stroll from the heart of the charming harbour town of Kalkan. *Children under 16 are allowed between 1st July 2024 and 31st August 2024.

All of the light, airy and incredibly spacious rooms and suites offer unrivalled sea views and have a large balcony or terrace, a superb spot to sit and watch the sun go down over the deep blue Mediterranean.
Likya Residence has a large inviting swimming pool surrounded by comfy sun loungers and a gorgeous second infinity pool with glorious views. There is a convivial bar and a very discerning terrace restaurant with a wide menu of delicious Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, a fabulous spot to marvel at the stunning views over Kalkan and out to sea. This excellent restaurant, run by the brilliant Mohammed, is probably one of the best, if not ‘the’ best in Kalkan.
Given the excellent relationship we have with the Likya residence since its inception, all the first and second floor rooms are allocated to the Discerning Collection.
The service is superb; charming yet unobtrusive and the staff will be happy to do what they can to make your holiday extra special. Managed by the ever attentive Seviye, the hotel has the highest repeat guest percentage in our portfolio and a stay here is a truly unforgettable experience.

The Likya Residence also boasts a fantastic restaurant, run expertly by the ever popular Mohammed, serving contemporary Turkish cuisine. It also has stunning views over Kalkan and out to sea. The hotel has a large free-form swimming pool which is very much the focal point and place to gather. The pool terrace is has wooden sun loungers dotted at various intervals and a pin-drop atmosphere, idea for unwinding. The superbly appointed bar is a focal point for most guests in the early evening prior to their customary walk into Kalkan for supper and late evening shopping.
There is a separate breakfast area which offers a plentiful buffet of delicious Turkish fare, such as fresh fruit, breads, cereals, yoghurt and even a chef on hand to prepare eggs, anyway you like.

Deluxe Room 100 and 106
106 is certainly one of the most popular rooms at the Likya Residence, double bedded with dual aspect views out to sea and over Kalkan, and large glass doors leading out onto a fabulous, incredibly large terrace with sunbeds, table, and chairs. 100 is another favourite, with double bed and terrace with sea views but also with direct access from their terrace into the upstairs infinity pool.
Master Deluxe Suites 401, 402 and Owners suite
Both 401 and 402 have en-suite shower rooms, Jacuzzi bathtub in the bedroom, and stunning sea views out over Kalkan from the terraces.
The Owner’s Suite is a large suite on the 1st floor, with a round double bed, en-suite shower room and dressing area. It has a large terrace with private access to the decked sun terrace.
Master Deluxe Suite 403
Master Deluxe Suite 403 benefits from 2 large private terraces and is located on the 4th floor. It has an en-suite shower room, Jacuzzi bathtub in the bedroom, stunning views from their terraces which have a table and chairs and 2 sunbeds.
Likya Retreat Annexe Standard Sea View Room
There are four beautifully presented standard sea view rooms each of which are a good size and afford glorious views across the bay and out to sea. These rooms are situated in a separate building a short stroll from the main hotel. there are a number of steps to reach the ground floor and then naturally more as you go up the floors and there is no working lift.
Each room enjoys bright and airy interiors, designed to imbibe the stunning seascape views. Each of the standard rooms afford furnished balconies.
There are four rooms in this category; 503 and 502 on the second floor and 504 and 505 on the third floor.
Likya Retreat Annexe Penthouse Jacuzzi Suite
The Penthouse Jacuzzi Suite, 506, has arguably the best position in the Likya Retreat Annexe. Perched on the top floor of the building, this suite is beautiful decorated in soothing neutral tones a combination of bright white and dusty greys. Inside is a comfortable large double bed and a spacious separate en suite bathroom with Shower W/C as we as his and hers wash basins.
Outside this suite enjoys an extremely large balcony with jacuzzi bath, as well as a comfortable alfresco seating area and day beds.

The Deluxe Private Pool Room, 501, sits on the first floor and is a wonderful one-bedroom suite with a private pool. Set over one floor, this suite comprises of a spacious double bedroom with jacuzzi bath, sitting room and shower w/c.French windows open out onto a private terrace, complete with swimming pool, day beds and alfresco sitting area and hammock style sitting swing. This suite enjoys views over Kalkan, the bay and out to sea.

Run with exceptional efficiency and grace by Mohammed the Likya ‘fine dining’ experience will not disappoint with its elegance and exceptionally high quality of cooking. The head chef, Yilmaz has been in residence for four years now and excels at new and exciting Turkish and International dishes. Our multi- centre holidays allow our guests the opportunity to make the most of our portfolio. In order to experience an authentic flavour of Turkey, we recommend combining locations either as a split centre stay, for example (7+7 nights, 3+4 nights or any duration that suits you). You can even, create your own multi-centre itinerary so you can get the most of your holiday in Turkey by sampling the wonderfully dramatic scenery and colourful culture that varies so much from region to region. We will take care of all the logistics, split centre transfers and for those who wish to self-drive, we also offer this service too.
Here we display an overview of the regions we feature and some nice ideas but any combination of properties and/or durations is feasible. It is even possible to combine with Istanbul, Cappadocia a guided Lycian Walking Tour or a themed programme tailored to your specific requirements. Bodrum
Once a small fishing village, enigmatic Bodrum is a thriving destination offering beautiful beaches and chi-chi beach clubs, a sophisticated and authentic array of bars and restaurants together with a fascinating historical and cultural scene; including a 15th Century castle and architecturally interesting buildings.

Gocek and Fethiye
The unassuming beauty of the Gulf of Fethiye & Göcek region is accentuated by its accessibility from the airport: just 20 minutes’ drive to Göcek harbour from Dalaman, which brings you straight into the heart of chichi coastal Turkey. It’s another 40 minutes to downtown Fethiye, a lively, working town with a gentrified seafront and one of the finest harbours on the entire coast. Both provide easy access to an archipelago of twelve islands, crystal clear waters and beneficent winds which make for wonderful sailing. Flanked by dramatic, pine-covered mountains and not a high-rise in site, their waterfront settings are exceptional. Beyond the two harbour towns an array of sandy beaches await, including some of Turkey’s best-known (Ölü Deniz) and less discovered finds such as Kabak and Kidrak.
Kalkan
Kalkan is a picturesque harbour town set in a vast horseshoe bay, flanked by a rocky mountainous backdrop. Villa Quintessentially pretty, it’s optimum features include cobbled narrow passageways and colourful Greek houses with low hanging bougainvillea clad balconies. The bustling café culture and artisan boutiques allow for long lingering lunches, followed by a mooch in search of artisan leather goods, fine jewellery and super stylish textiles. Kalkan has an excellent selection of serviced beach clubs which ring the bay making it easy to spend time chilling by the water’s edge. All have a laid back barefoot vibe, most with waiter service and each offering a slightly different experience. Just up the road, Patara is a favourite for all, this long stretch of golden sand will appeal to little people longing to build a sandcastle or two and the breeze makes the intense peak summer heat more endurable. Beyond the dunes sits the ancient Lycian site of Patara which was once an important trading port and the supposed birthplace of St Nicholas.
Kas
The Kas Peninsula is a wonderful setting for a holiday: the views across the blue sea to the Greek island of Meis are spectacular and the land slopes down to the rocky coastline where swimming platforms let you plunge straight into the crystal clear water.
Kas is perhaps a little like the ‘big brother’ of Kalkan. Like Kalkan, it has an attractive harbour and winding cobbled streets climbing a hillside. It has a slightly bohemian feel, attracting a range of visitors of different nationalities and ages. The town has a wonderful selection of shops and restaurants, many with charming roof terraces with views over the square and harbour front.
The Bozburun and Datça Peninsula
The Bozburun and Datça peninsula’s have a distinctly Greek feel which sets them apart from the rest of coastal Turkey. This is partly because of their proximity to the Greek Southern Dodecanese ring and the island of Symi is just five miles across the strait. Along the roadside is the waft of drying thyme, rosemary and sage as men twiddle worry beads sipping endless cups of Turkish tea. The area is known for its thyme-scented honey which is sold by the roadside.
Istanbul
Istanbul is a spectacular city that you will never tire of. Steeped in ancient history, today it is a café society with a minaret-lined skyline, a confluence of ancient tradition and contemporary delights. It bemuses and amuses in equal measure. The city famously straddles – both geographically and philosophically – Europe and Asia and stimulates every visitor with a melange of the exotic and familiar. Its geographical position alone – at the neck of trading routes between the Mediterranean and Africa – has afforded the city an important trading position since the Byzantine era. And the Golden Horn, nestling within the city, is one of the world’s finest natural harbours.
Cappadocia
The Cappadocia National Park region covers over 24,000 square kilometres with a distinct and highly unusual landscape. The valley of Fairy Chimneys is the most popular area, roughly within the triangle formed by the three main towns of the region, Avanos, Urgup and Nevsehir. There’s really no adequate way of conveying the surreal moonscape- the enormity of the skies and awe-inspiring geology is something that can only be truly appreciated in person.
