Malta and Gozo

With a high degree of rejuvenation and clever reinvention, the lovely island of Malta has transformed itself from a once traditional holiday choice into an upmarket and chic destination for sun worshipers, food lovers and culture seekers.

Its transformation into a smart ‘in’ destination is continuing apace and that is why we have decided to feature this charming little Mediterranean archipelago in our holiday collection.

The Times recently described its capital, Valetta, as ‘a centre of sparkling historic restorations, trendy bars and designer accommodations and restaurants’. Gone are the days of mediocrity, Malta now boasts and amazing five Michelin star restaurants. Fantastic beaches, beautifully transparent warm waters and 300 days of sunshine make this a wonderful destination. Diving, water sports, golf, tennis and hotels with excellent spas all add to the enticement that is Malta.

With only a select few hotels our choices are intentionally limited so that you can enjoy the best of the islands offerings. With the €30 million refurbishment of the Marriott in St Juliens and the wonderfully consistent Kempinsky in Gozo we have two of the finest hotels that Malta has to offer and a visit to either or preferably both will be a superb choice for an excellent holiday.
