Once a simple guesthouse, the Likya Gardens Hotel has been totally transformed into a beach front boutique hotel comprising of just 12 spacious suites, two 2 bedroom villas and two 3 bedroom villas.
Likya Gardens surveys, the Bay of Kalkan and looks out across the inky waters to Hotel Villa Mahal on the far side of the Bay. The stunning and quiet waterfront location is ideal for couples seeking a peaceful escape with plenty of privacy.
Likya Gardens and Likya Beach Club prides itself on offering the highest levels of service to select guests.
Boasting one of the best locations in Kalkan, this reinvented boutique property is reached via a small lane which to Kalkan’s westerly shore, and has a secluded position overlooking the sea, yet it is still possible to walk into the main part of town. The boutique hotel is spread across the hillside and offers the opportunity to relax either by your private pool or by the sea, with an attentive and discreet service provided by hotel staff.
All but 6 rooms have their own private swimming pool. New for 2022 are four chic- beachside style villas complete with their own private swimming pools. Built over two floors with the bedrooms on the first floors. In addition, there are 4 new deluxe pool rooms, situated in the gardens with their own plunge pools and those delightful sea views. All the rooms are spacious, light and airy and have a wonderful laid back feel.
In the original building there are 6 rooms without pool, each has a balcony with sea views and complimentary use of the hotel’s private waterfront and bathing platforms. In the main building there is the Penthouse Jacuzzi Suite with its gorgeous views and its own-roof top Jacuzzi and the Signature Pool room on the ground floor, is always a favourite choice with our regular guests.
Breakfast is served in a shaded area at the Likya Beach Club and features a delightful Mediterranean buffet and some daily specials. Light lunches are available at the hotel’s private waterfront known as the Likya Beach Club. A short walk back along the coastal road will take you to a plethora of wonderful restaurants in Kalkan. Alternatively both the Likya Pavilion, Likya Residence and Asfiya Sea View hotels are close by and both have renowned restaurants.
Pretty steps lead down from Likya Gardens Terrace to the waterfront below where there are private cabanas – one for each of the villas – to enjoy the beachfront in utter seclusion. They are inspired by the Caribbean and give a hippy chic beachfront vibe that is instantly relaxing. The whitewashed, wooden cabanas are individually decorated and each has a sun lounger as well of course die-for views out over the Mediterranean.
The waterfront beach club offers easy access to the sea with sun-loungers, diving platforms and parasols dotted here and there. There is towel and waiter service to the beach club and cabanas with light refreshments including snacks and cooling drinks.

Breakfast
The Likya Gardens offers a delicious a la carte breakfast on the terrace every morning- served under the shade of a pergola. Enjoy a delicious selection of Turkish and Mediterranean dishes together with eggs, omelettes and pancakes cooked freshly to order.
The Likya Beach Club and Private Cabanas- Complimentary Access
A newly-created private beach club operates exclusively for use of the guests residing at The Likya Gardens and The Likya Pavilion. Accessed from The Likya Gardens, a single path leads through a maze of whitewashed timber alleys built into the cliff face down towards the beach club below. Stylish decking extends across the water’s edge and there is direct access to the sea for wonderful snorkelling and swimming, while wooden loungers, neutral parasols and quirky diving platforms are scattered at intervals.
Guests in the villas enjoy a private, beachside cabana to soak up the sea in utter privacy. Caribbean-inspired, the wooden cabanas are individually decorated with whitewashed surfaces. Each has loungers and open views onto the glorious expanse of Mediterranean.
The Likya Beach Club has a little restaurant serving light bites, main events and drinks throughout the day (it is closed in the evening). Thereafter for dinner guests can visit the nearby Likya Pavilion restaurant and Likya Residence or alternatively, stroll into the charming village of Kalkan, known for its superb choice of waterside restaurants and elegant roof top terraces.
The Adda Boat
Board our exclusive and elegant grey hulled motor cruiser from Kalkan harbour and experience a wonderful day meandering along the majestic Kalkan coastline and beyond. During the course of the day, the Adda boat glides slowly from remote cove to bay with many anchorages for guests to enjoy the enticing crystal clear waters. The lazy day at sea experience is a catered trip with a Turkish feast of seasonal delights served onboard, lunch is a smorgasbord of freshly prepared meze, accompanied by a choice of either fish, chicken or kofte.
We restrict the number of guests onboard to 8 to ensure there is considerable space to relax in comfort.

There are three beautiful rooms in the Comfort Suites Category. Two of which are situated on the first and second floors at the rear of the main building, the third is on the top floor of the main building. Each suite is individually styled, comfortable and spacious, with double bed and en-suite bathroom. All have a balcony with views across the bay of Kalkan.
The décor has a laid back, barefoot vibe, with wooden floors, white washed timber framed windows creating a light and airy feel.

Each of the Waterfront Suites enjoy spacious interiors, double beds and glorious views out to sea. The suites open out onto a private balcony with panoramic views across the bay of Kalkan and out to sea. There are two suites in this category; Phaselis and Olympos.
The suites benefit from a roll-top bath with a view and en-suite shower – it would be difficult to find a bath with a better view! The décor has a laid back, beachfront vibe, with wooden floors, white washed timber framed windows creating a light and airy feel, while maximising the sea views.

Penthouse Suite with Jacuzzi
The Penthouse Jacuzzi Suite Simena, is located at the highest point of the hotel and is set over two floors. Entrance is onto a small quirky sitting area, large glass doors open onto a rooftop jacuzzi terrace with decked platform. Inside, a staircase leads to the double bedroom complete with en-suite shower and w/c.
The Penthouse jacuzzi suite provides guests with plenty of privacy and quite simply the most staggering sea views over the bat. Whilst the Jacuzzi isn’t quite a pool, it is ideal for a cooling dip with a cocktail or two.

New Deluxe Pool Suites
The four new deluxe pool suites are bright and airy with en-suite bathrooms. Large floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto a private terraces, complete with plunge pool and magnificent views out to sea and across the bay.
These 4 rooms are situated in the garden in an elevated position. They are built as a cluster of four and are semi detached. Two stand on the first floor and two above on the second floor. They are approximately 25sqm and the pools will be 3m x 4m.

New Garden Pool Suite
The Garden Pool Suite Limyra is surrounded by dense foliage and colourful gardens and enjoys sweeping views across the bay of Kalkan and also benefits from a good-size sea facing infinity pool. Decorated in crisp, neutral tones with contemporary fixtures and fittings and a smattering of artefacts throughout, the Garden Pool Suites is ideal for those who relish inside-outside living. Step out through floor-to-ceiling sliding windows into your very own private pool and terrace, ideal for spending lazy days imbibing the sea views.
There is one new Garden Pool Suite, Limyra. The suite is approximately 30 m² and features a spacious en-suite with shower/wc, king size bed, sea view, jacuzzi on the terrace and is an east facing suite.

Signature Pool Suite
The Signature Pool Suite, Patara is a spacious double-bedded suite which opens out onto a private pool terrace with gorgeous sea views. There is decking on two sides of the suite and surrounds the large pool.
The terrace has lovely day beds and those relaxing seaviews.
Light and airy, whitewashed interiors have splashes of colour with Ottoman-style furnishings and a four poster bed. There is a large marble bathroom with a high-sided roll-top bath and a separate rain-shower.

Adriake and Aperlae - 2 bedroom villas with private pool
Two brand new semi-detached 2 bedroom villas with sea views and private pools built on two floors with a double bedroom with balcony and sea views and a twin bedroom overlooking the garden. On the ground floor there is a sitting room with floor to ceiling glass doors that open up on to the sundeck and private pool. There’s also a kitchenette and garden to complete these delightful 2bedroom villas.

Arycanda and Sidyma - 3 bedroom villas with private pool
The stunning Arycanda and Sidyma are two brand new and spacious villas located adjacent to the water’s edge in a quiet corner of Kalkan bay. These private residences boast three beautiful en-suite bedrooms, a large and contemporary open plan living space including kitchenette, dining space and sitting room all of which are tastefully decorated in neutral tones. Large glass doors imbibe the swimming pool and surrounding serene gardens. Outside, the pool deck and alfresco living space provides plenty of space to relax and bask under sunny Turkish skies. Inside other villa highlights include; an indoor swimming pool, hammam and sauna. We will then check you in and send you all the necessary documents, you have nothing to do, except pack and look forward to your holiday!

To book a package including flights we will require the hotel deposit of 30% plus any payment we make on your behalf for the flying costs. Our multi- centre holidays allow our guests the opportunity to make the most of our portfolio. In order to experience an authentic flavour of Turkey, we recommend combining locations either as a split centre stay, for example (7+7 nights, 3+4 nights or any duration that suits you). You can even, create your own multi-centre itinerary so you can get the most of your holiday in Turkey by sampling the wonderfully dramatic scenery and colourful culture that varies so much from region to region. We will take care of all the logistics, split centre transfers and for those who wish to self-drive, we also offer this service too.
Here we display an overview of the regions we feature and some nice ideas but any combination of properties and/or durations is feasible. Bodrum
Once a small fishing village, enigmatic Bodrum is a thriving destination offering beautiful beaches and chi-chi beach clubs, a sophisticated and authentic array of bars and restaurants together with a fascinating historical and cultural scene; including a 15th Century castle and architecturally interesting buildings.

Gocek and Fethiye
The unassuming beauty of the Gulf of Fethiye & Göcek region is accentuated by its accessibility from the airport: just 20 minutes’ drive to Göcek harbour from Dalaman, which brings you straight into the heart of chichi coastal Turkey. It’s another 40 minutes to downtown Fethiye, a lively, working town with a gentrified seafront and one of the finest harbours on the entire coast. Both provide easy access to an archipelago of twelve islands, crystal clear waters and beneficent winds which make for wonderful sailing. Flanked by dramatic, pine-covered mountains and not a high-rise in site, their waterfront settings are exceptional. Beyond the two harbour towns an array of sandy beaches await, including some of Turkey’s best-known (Ölü Deniz) and less discovered finds such as Kabak and Kidrak.
Kalkan
Kalkan is a picturesque harbour town set in a vast horseshoe bay, flanked by a rocky mountainous backdrop. Villa Quintessentially pretty, it’s optimum features include cobbled narrow passageways and colourful Greek houses with low hanging bougainvillea clad balconies. The bustling café culture and artisan boutiques allow for long lingering lunches, followed by a mooch in search of artisan leather goods, fine jewellery and super stylish textiles. Kalkan has an excellent selection of serviced beach clubs which ring the bay making it easy to spend time chilling by the water’s edge. All have a laid back barefoot vibe, most with waiter service and each offering a slightly different experience. Just up the road, Patara is a favourite for all, this long stretch of golden sand will appeal to little people longing to build a sandcastle or two and the breeze makes the intense peak summer heat more endurable. Beyond the dunes sits the ancient Lycian site of Patara which was once an important trading port and the supposed birthplace of St Nicholas.
Kas
The Kas Peninsula is a wonderful setting for a holiday: the views across the blue sea to the Greek island of Meis are spectacular and the land slopes down to the rocky coastline where swimming platforms let you plunge straight into the crystal clear water.
Kas is perhaps a little like the ‘big brother’ of Kalkan. Like Kalkan, it has an attractive harbour and winding cobbled streets climbing a hillside. It has a slightly bohemian feel, attracting a range of visitors of different nationalities and ages. The town has a wonderful selection of shops and restaurants, many with charming roof terraces with views over the square and harbour front.
The Bozburun and Datça Peninsula
The Bozburun and Datça peninsula’s have a distinctly Greek feel which sets them apart from the rest of coastal Turkey. This is partly because of their proximity to the Greek Southern Dodecanese ring and the island of Symi is just five miles across the strait. Along the roadside is the waft of drying thyme, rosemary and sage as men twiddle worry beads sipping endless cups of Turkish tea. The area is known for its thyme-scented honey which is sold by the roadside.
Istanbul
Istanbul is a spectacular city that you will never tire of. Steeped in ancient history, today it is a café society with a minaret-lined skyline, a confluence of ancient tradition and contemporary delights. It bemuses and amuses in equal measure. The city famously straddles – both geographically and philosophically – Europe and Asia and stimulates every visitor with a melange of the exotic and familiar. Its geographical position alone – at the neck of trading routes between the Mediterranean and Africa – has afforded the city an important trading position since the Byzantine era. And the Golden Horn, nestling within the city, is one of the world’s finest natural harbours.
Cappadocia
The Cappadocia National Park region covers over 24,000 square kilometres with a distinct and highly unusual landscape. The valley of Fairy Chimneys is the most popular area, roughly within the triangle formed by the three main towns of the region, Avanos, Urgup and Nevsehir. There’s really no adequate way of conveying the surreal moonscape- the enormity of the skies and awe-inspiring geology is something that can only be truly appreciated in person.
