Our Parga collection is deliberately small. We work with just three individual properties here and, between them, there are only so many rooms, suites and private-pool villas to go around. If you have a particular place, room type or time of year in mind, early really does matter.

Parga sits on the Ionian coast of mainland Greece, although you could easily be forgiven for thinking you had arrived on an island.
The town curls around a natural harbour, with colourful houses climbing the hillside behind it and the little island of Panagia sitting just offshore. Above everything stands the Venetian Castle; beyond the headland is the long sweep of Valtos Beach.
Yet it isn’t simply Parga’s looks that have won us over.
Much of life here remains independent and family-run. Restaurants, cafés and small hotels feel part of the town rather than additions made for visitors, and evenings have a wonderfully easy rhythm: a walk along the waterfront, a drink beside the harbour, dinner somewhere that catches your eye and perhaps another glass of wine because nobody appears to be in any particular hurry.

Apolis Suites & Villas: More Space and a Pool of Your Own
For those who like the independence of a villa but don’t necessarily want to give up the pleasures of staying somewhere looked after, Apolis Suites & Villas is a very different proposition.
Set among olive trees on the hillside above Parga, its suites and private-pool villas look towards the town, Valtos Beach and the Ionian Sea.
It works particularly well for couples and families who want more space and privacy, while keeping Parga within easy reach.

Irida Hotel: Be Among the First to Book for 2027
Individual, intimate and utterly Parga.
Irida Hotel sits above the town with wonderful views towards Parga and the Ionian Sea. Its rooms are individually styled rather than repeated to a formula, which is a large part of its charm, but also makes choosing early worthwhile if you have a favourite.
For 2027, we have been able to open bookings before Irida’s official 2027 rates are released, using provisional early-booking prices.
That means you can currently reserve your preferred dates and have the widest choice of Irida’s individually styled accommodation before availability reduces. The provisional rates may change when the hotel’s official 2027 tariff is confirmed.
Is Parga a Good Alternative to Kalkan?
For our guests who already know and love Kalkan, Parga is one of the places we most often suggest when they ask us where to try next.
Not because the two destinations are the same. They aren’t.
Parga is unmistakably Greek and has a character entirely of its own. But there is a familiarity to the way you holiday here: a beautiful waterfront, independent restaurants and cafés, clear water for swimming, characterful smaller hotels and evenings centred around choosing where to eat rather than wondering what there is to do.
That was part of what first drew us to Parga, and it is something our guests have recognised too. Our original Parga e-shot makes precisely this connection: it describes Parga as somewhere Kalkan devotees may quickly understand, while stressing that it remains distinctly Greek.
If Kalkan has been your place for years but you fancy changing the view, Parga may be the answer.

The answer depends rather wonderfully on how you like to holiday.

What Is There to Do in Parga?
You can fill a week in Parga remarkably easily, or make almost no plans whatsoever.
Walk through the old town to the Venetian Castle towards the end of the day. Spend a long afternoon on Valtos Beach. Take a boat out towards Paxos and Antipaxos for sea caves, swimming and little island harbours. Cross the water to Panagia. Or simply stay in town and watch the harbour change as afternoon becomes evening.

When Is the Best Time to Visit Parga in 2027?
Parga’s main holiday season runs from May to October, and the right month depends on the holiday you want.
May, June and September tend to suit those looking for warm weather and a slightly gentler pace, while July and August bring the liveliest atmosphere and greater demand for the most popular accommodation. That’s also why particular hotels, suites and villas can become more difficult to secure during the busiest periods.
For many of our guests, June and September are particularly lovely months to be here: warm enough to make the most of the sea, with evenings still made for eating outside.
