The Argos in Cappadocia enjoys an elevated position from Uchisar, the highest point in the region with awe-inspiring panoramic views over the unusual Cappadocian terrain below.

The hotel which itself was once a monastery then a linseed oil factory, is made up for four mansion-like buildings, connected by age-old underground tunnels and has been carefully renovated into a magnificent boutique hotel.

There are 53 rooms and suites in total, each unique but equally stunning, with antiques and beautiful kilims dotted around. Many of the rooms have their own balconies, terraces or gardens; a wonderful spot to relax with a book or simply gaze out at the magical lunar landscape below.

For those in search of ultimate luxury, the ‘Splendid Suites’ each boast private indoor cave pools.

The restaurant at Argos in Cappadocia serves exquisite Turkish and international fare and also has a huge wine cellar for those wishing to try a selection of local Cappadocian wine.

The Seki restaurant serves 1st class cuisine, all sourced  locally using the finest produce and many wines are produced from the hotel’s very one vineyard.  There is also a lounge area to enjoy lighter snacks and drinks with panoramic views over the magical landscape.

For wine lovers, the cellar is a ‘must-see’, located in the cool, dark tunnels beneath the hotel, there are some absolutely superb wines from the Anatolian region to sample

    The Stone rooms are from 17-27sqm in size, some are dug out of caves, whilst others are made from local stone, these rooms sleep 2 guests.


    Deluxe room

    The larger Deluxe rooms can sleep and extra guest, some rooms offer a terrace and/or fireplace and have views over the valley or pretty courtyard.



    The spacious suites have a bedroom and separate lounge area and can accommodate up to 4 guests.  Some of these rooms have a terrace or balcony and others lead out on to the hotel courtyard.  The Suites also have their own espresso machines.


    Splendid Suites

    The large Splendid Suites are up to 120sqm in size and have their own fantastic cave pool.  The Splendid Suites also have a terrace with wonderful views, and a bedroom with separate lounge area.  Some of the Splendid Suites are split level with the cave pool on the ground floor.  The Splendid Suites also have their own espresso machines.
