At Paralos Venus Suites, dining is not simply about nourishment — it’s a celebration of Crete’s rich culinary heritage, where every dish is rooted in local tradition and elevated by contemporary flair.

Since 2022, the hotel’s gastronomic direction has been shaped by acclaimed Greek chef Giannis Baxevanis, in collaboration with Michelin-awarded chef Jerome Serres. Together, they’ve created a dining philosophy centred around authentic Cretan and Greek flavours, using only the freshest local ingredients — vibrant produce, mountain herbs, and sun-kissed island staples — to deliver a cuisine that is both healthful and deeply satisfying.

The Diktamos à la carte restaurant is the heart of the experience, offering an elegant setting for both breakfast and dinner. Mornings begin with a generous blend of buffet and à la carte dishes, while evenings showcase refined Mediterranean creations, thoughtfully prepared and artfully presented.

For lighter midday fare, a curated lunch menu offers a relaxed yet flavoursome taste of Greece — perfect for poolside dining or a shaded terrace moment.

New in 2024, the hotel also welcomes guests to a traditional Cretan à la carte restaurant, where timeless recipes and rustic flavours take centre stage. Guests staying five nights or more can enjoy one complimentary dinner here (advance booking required) — an experience not to be missed.

Guests can choose between Bed & Breakfast or Half Board, with each option designed to reflect the hotel’s commitment to seasonal, thoughtfully prepared cuisine.

Start the day with a beautifully presented breakfast at Diktamos, combining à la carte dishes with a delicatessen-style buffet (07:30–10:30), or opt for a late continental breakfast served until 11:00. An early breakfast is also available with 24 hours’ notice.

For those on Half Board, dinner is a refined à la carte affair at Diktamos (18:30–21:30). Guests staying five nights or more are also treated to one complimentary dinner at the hotel’s new Cretan Bio à la carte restaurant — a flavourful journey into regional traditions (advance reservation required).

A curated à la carte lunch is available at Diktamos from 12:30 to 17:00 (extra charge), along with snack boxes and room service across all meals (also at an additional cost).

Paralos Venus Suites invites guests to unwind at their own pace, with curated spaces designed for quiet pleasure and occasional celebration. A stylish playroom offers a billiards table, a small curated library, and a restful corner for relaxed afternoons. As the sun sets, the mood subtly shifts — several times a week, live DJ sets or acoustic performances fill the air, creating an atmosphere that’s sociable yet never overstated. Each week, guests are also invited to enjoy a complimentary wine tasting, spotlighting the island’s finest local vineyards.

Wellness, Reimagined

Replenish body and mind with a bespoke selection of wellness treatments, available by appointment. Expert therapists offer deeply restorative massages, rejuvenating facials, and indulgent manicures and pedicures — all delivered with the utmost care in serene surroundings (charges apply). A steam room adds to the restorative offering, providing a tranquil space to exhale and reset (charges apply).

Wellbeing here flows as naturally as the sea breeze. The open-air rooftop gym boasts panoramic views of the Cretan coast and is equipped with calisthenics-friendly features for a fresh approach to fitness. A certified trainer leads a gentle, weather-dependent programme six days a week, while watersports including pedalos and canoes are available (at an additional cost) on the nearby beach via a trusted third-party partner.
