Steeped in history, Dubrovnik is a beautiful 13th Century Medieval walled city which has survived attacks by the Serbs leaving it severely damaged in 1995, it has since been restored to its former glory and fortunately many of the splendid historical sites remain intact and is now fast becoming one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe.
Explore the myriad of cobbled backstreets lined with boutiques, cafes and restaurants, marvel at the many impressive sites such as the stunning Cathedral of Assumption, the Gothic Sponza Palace and remarkable Fransciscan Monastery to name but a few. One way of course to fully appreciate the beauty of Dubrovnik is via the Mount Srd cable car from which you can enjoy panoramic views over the city and the numerous surrounding islands.
