Perched dramatically on a hillside in the rural village of Asni, the Kasbah Tamadot is a luxurious hideaway; the perfect antidote after a few days discovering enchanting Marrakech. The views from the hotel are breath-taking from every angle, whether looking over the hotels immaculate grounds, over to the local Berber village across the river or towards the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, the panorama is just spectacular. The Kasbah Tamadot is an intimate hotel with just 27 rooms and suites, all beautifully furnished; the Luxury Berber Tents which are separate from the main hotel are particularly special, with large terraces and private Jacuzzis. Despite the hotel’s rural location, there is plenty to keep guests occupied; there is a wonderful Spa with a range of treatments, two large swimming pools, gym, tennis court and a library, new for 2013 cookery classes are now available and for a little after dinner entertainment, guests can enjoy watching a movie under the stars with the Kasbah’s open-air movie screenings. For those who wish to venture out, all kinds of excursions and walks can be arranged.
