It is hard to believe when you are up at this glorious retreat that the bustling centre of Marrakech is a mere forty-five minute drive away, making it an ideal choice to combine with a few days shopping in the colourful souks of the Medina.

Kasbah Bab Ourika is a relatively new hotel that has been built in keeping with the homes in the surrounding villages. Made out of ‘pise’ the local red earth, the owner Stephen employed local Berber builders to construct the hotel using traditional materials.

Each of the spacious fifteen rooms and suites are incredibly comfortable and have stunning panoramic views over the verdant surrounding landscape.
