Saklikent Gorge and Tlos
Starting at the magnificent Saklikent Gorge which is the second largest gorge in Europe, and after you’ve had chance to explore, we head off to the famous carpet weavers association to learn about the history and see an array of fantastic examples. We then head to Yakapark for lunch, then on to Tlos, believed to be the home of Bellerophon and his winged horse Pegasus. Over the last few years, Tlos has dramatically changed due to further excavation work. Your guide will show you the theatre, Roman baths and rock cut tombs. Tlos is believed to be the oldest and longest Lycian settlement.
