Casa Pery is one of Kalkan’s most intriguing new boutique hideaways; intimate, design-led and wonderfully tactile, with the kind of atmosphere that makes you exhale the moment you step inside. Welcoming guests aged 16 and above, it brings something fresh to Turkey’s Turquoise Coast: panoramic sea views, beautiful design and a contemporary wellness concept that is entirely yours to embrace, or simply enjoy from the comfort of a sun lounger.
Set into the hillside on the edge of Kalkan Old Town, Casa Pery feels quietly tucked away, yet is brilliantly placed for dipping in and out of the town whenever the mood takes you. In around five minutes on foot, you can be on Suleyman Yilmaz Caddesi, right in the heart of Kalkan’s old town and restaurant scene, with rooftop dining, cocktail terraces and boutiques all within easy reach. Kalkan Public Beach is around seven minutes downhill, while Dalaman Airport is approximately one hour and forty minutes away by road.
Passing through the artisan wooden doors, the bustle of Kalkan begins to fade. A whitewashed courtyard opens around a sculptural olive tree, with a built-in corner sofa set into the wall and, beyond it, the first sweep of those wide-screen panoramic views across Kalkan Bay. From here, the hotel unfolds in wonderfully higgledy-piggledy fashion across the hillside: terraces, stairways, tucked-away corners, sunbathing decks and little pockets of privacy, revealing themselves one by one. With its sun-bleached walls, warm stone, woven parasols, rattan seating, natural linens and handcrafted details, Casa Pery has a softly glamorous Mykonian-meets-Tulum feel, yet still remains unmistakably Kalkan.
There are just seventeen rooms, each individually styled, and no two are entirely the same. Some have vast views across the bay, others feel more private and cocooning, while the most sought-after include the Jacuzzi Room and the Pool Suite. Throughout, the design is soft, tactile and beautifully composed rather than overly polished: chic without feeling cold, elegant without becoming stiff, and deeply comfortable in the way only truly thoughtful spaces can be. Everything invites you to while away the hours.
Outdoors, Casa Pery is made for sun-drenched days and slow afternoons. There are several bathing terraces scattered throughout the property, two main swimming pools, a smaller plunge pool and one private pool suite. One of the pools is finished in pebbles, giving it a wonderfully organic, textural feel, while fringed parasols, striped loungers and sweeping sea views create the sort of setting made for long books, iced coffees, freshly pressed juices and the occasional very good cocktail.
Wellness is part of the Casa Pery story, but never in a way that feels prescribed. The hotel has created a fresh, holistic wellness concept in Kalkan, centred around its beautifully equipped dedicated studio. The programme evolves throughout the season, with classes and experiences ranging from activities such as Yoga, Barre and Pilates. Sessions are led by specialist instructors from the local area and across Turkey, selected for their experience in their respective disciplines.
As part of your stay with Discerning Collection, complimentary participation in the wellness classes and activities scheduled during your stay is included. The programme varies according to the time of year, and hotel occupancy with a more extensive schedule and greater range of activities operating during busier times and a more personalised programme and sometimes reduced choice of activities during quieter periods. You are free to participate as much or as little as you wish, making wellness an enjoyable addition to your holiday rather than the focus of it.
For some guests, that may mean movement, workshops and a week of reset. For others, wellness may look like sunbathing by the pool, lingering over breakfast, wandering into town for dinner and returning to a room that feels like a hug. Both versions are equally welcome here.
Breakfast is another part of the experience that feels carefully considered. Rather than a standard buffet, Casa Pery offers an à la carte breakfast built around three distinct styles. Anatolian Sunrise is a generous Turkish kahvalti with regional cheese, olives, homemade preserves, fresh breads, seasonal fruits, eggs cooked to your liking, sucuk and rosti potatoes. Albion brings a British favourite to the table with bacon, sausage, black pudding, mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, rosti potatoes, artisan breads and croissants. For those wanting something lighter, The Balance includes Greek yoghurt, granola, seasonal fruits, chia, honey, avocado on toast, fresh seasonal vegetables, nuts and detox water.
Lunch is relaxed and fresh, with egg dishes including Turkish menemen and omelettes, seasonal salads, a small selection of pasta dishes, paninis, burgers, halloumi stacks and chicken goujons. In the evening, the menu is deliberately concise, with dishes such as steak, salmon, Turkish mixed grill and a vegetable dish, followed by desserts including lemon cheesecake, brownie with ice cream and carrot and cinnamon cake. Add to this freshly pressed juices, smoothies, iced coffees, cocktails and an extensive wine list, and Casa Pery becomes as much a place to graze and linger as it is a place to sleep.
Family-owned by Ahmet, who is from Istanbul, and run with warmth by his son Ozan, manager Cem and their team, Casa Pery has a very personal spirit. It is polished, but never impersonal; stylish, but never sterile. This is a hotel that understands that today’s luxury lies in thoughtful design, genuine hospitality and the freedom to spend your holiday entirely your own way. For some, that may mean Barre, Hot Pilates, matcha workshops and moments of quiet reflection. Deluxe Room
Offering a little more outdoor living, Casa Pery’s Deluxe Rooms are ideal for guests who enjoy stepping straight outside to greet the morning sunshine. Individually styled with the same relaxed Mediterranean aesthetic found throughout the hotel, these rooms combine handcrafted furnishings, natural textures and calming neutral tones with direct access to one of Casa Pery’s beautiful sun terraces.
There are three rooms within this category: Thalia (Room 15), Aurelia (Room 16) and Selene (Room 17). Each opens onto its own furnished terrace with elegant black-and-white woven bistro chairs and a table, creating a lovely spot for an early evening glass of wine.
Beyond, the terrace extends to a shared sunbathing area where each room has two dedicated day beds overlooking the hotel’s beautifully landscaped surroundings. Swim Up Room
Casa Pery offers six individually designed Swim-Up Rooms, each combining the hotel’s relaxed Mediterranean styling with the convenience of being located immediately beside one of its swimming pools. While these rooms are described as ‘Swim-Up’ by the hotel, it is worth noting that they do not offer direct step-in access from the terrace into the water in the traditional sense. Instead, each room enjoys its own furnished outdoor terrace positioned alongside the pool, creating an effortless indoor-outdoor lifestyle with the water just moments away.
Rooms Citrina (2) and Rosmarin (3) are located in different areas of the hotel, each overlooking a different pool. Citrina sits beside the smaller plunge pool, while Rosmarin enjoys a position alongside the hotel’s second swimming pools towards the bottom of the hotel. Solena (10), Mireya (11), Avelia (12) and Elara (13) are situated together and open onto the hotel’s distinctive pebble-finished swimming pool, with their terraces arranged in a row overlooking the water.

The enclosed courtyard features a plunge pool, day bed and comfortable outdoor seating, creating a peaceful space to relax throughout the day. Private Transfers
Private return airport transfers from Dalaman Airport are included within our prices, allowing you to begin your holiday without waiting for shared transfers or multiple hotel stops.
Payments

For one rather special week next spring, Casa Pery will be reserved entirely for Discerning Collection guests for our inaugural Casa Pery Wellness Week in Kalkan.
Working closely with Casa Pery, we have created a bespoke wellness programme specifically for our guests, bringing together an unusually varied collection of movement, wellbeing, creative and cultural experiences. Across each full day, four hours of guided classes, workshops and wellness experiences are included, with specialist English-speaking instructors and practitioners brought together from the local area and across Turkey, selected for their experience in their respective disciplines..
The programme goes well beyond a traditional yoga retreat. Mornings might begin with Sunrise Yoga, Mat Pilates, Barre or Stretch & Mobility, while later sessions introduce everything from Power Yoga and Yoga Sculpt to breathwork, ice baths and restorative practices. We’ve also woven in more creative and cultural experiences, including a Matcha Ceremony, ceramics workshop, Turkish Coffee & Fortune Experience and natural skincare workshop. Every session is included and entirely optional. You can take part in all four sessions each day if you wish, dip into those that particularly appeal, or occasionally abandon the programme altogether in favour of a lazy afternoon beside the pool or a wander into Kalkan. There are no points for perfect attendance here; the idea is to give you an exceptional programme and the freedom to enjoy it your way.
With only 17 individually designed rooms, Casa Pery lends itself beautifully to this kind of holiday.
