Feast on a generous smorgasbord- style buffet featuring yogurt, fruits of the season, an array of cheeses, freshly made breads, pancakes and eggs cooked to order. There will also be a plethora of freshly pressed juices and aromatic coffee.

Waterside,The snack bar and kitchen restaurant is open for lunch and will serves light bites ideal for refuelling after dipping in and out of the Mediterranean. The menu will feature fresh seasonal salads, wraps, Turkish flatbreads called pide, pizzas and pastas as well as freshly-landed fish and seafood.

ASEDO A’LA Carte
Languid suppers can be enjoyed at ASEDO restaurant a chic and sophisticated atmosphere with a steakhouse culture.
The hotel has three bars including; The Lobby, Pool and Beach bar. All have an excellent choice of local and imported spirits as well as a fine wine list and signature cocktail menu.

The Waterfront/Beach Club
With its water’s edge setting and crystal clear seas its glorious to spend some well-earned horizontal hangtime lapping up the laid back beach vibes.
The waterfront setting is an excellent size. It is reached by a cascade of steps. Lazy days can be spent in the cabanas or on the more social beach platforms, all of the areas are immaculately presented exuding a boho barefoot vibe with plenty of parasols and comfy corners for you to relax while listening to the sounds of the sea and admiring the resident loggerhead turtles. As night falls it is the ideal spot for a sundowner, against a backdrop of the blood-red sunset reflected across the sea.

Cool and contemporary the Junior suites feature a large spacious interior of 65 square meters accommodation and an enormous 45 square meter terrace area with private pool as well as more glorious views to sea. All rooms have a king-size double master bedroom and the second bedroom is a queen double.

The Senior Suite with Garden Views and Private Pool sleep a maximum of four guests. What is Lures Hotel in Kalkan?
Lures is a contemporary adults-only luxury hotel overlooking Kalamar Bay in Kalkan, with 52 rooms and suites, impressive Mediterranean views, an extensive spa, resident-only swimming pool and its own waterfront beach club.
The hotel occupies a spectacular hillside setting above the sea, with accommodation ranging from spacious Superior and Deluxe Rooms to Penthouses, two-bedroom private-pool suites and private-pool Villas. Breakfast is included for Discerning Collection guests, while a choice of restaurants, bars and excellent wellness facilities make it particularly appealing to guests looking for a resort-style stay in Kalkan.
Is Lures Hotel adults-only?
Yes. Lures Hotel is adults-only and welcomes resident guests aged 16 and above throughout the season.
The age policy applies to guests staying at the hotel. Lures Beach Club and the hotel’s restaurants also welcome non-residents and are not exclusively adults-only, so children may occasionally be present within these areas.
The hotel’s main swimming pool, however, is reserved exclusively for resident hotel guests and therefore remains adults-only.
Does Lures Hotel have its own beach club?
Yes. Lures has its own waterfront beach club immediately below the hotel, open to both hotel residents and non-residents.
Access is complimentary for resident guests, including daybeds and towels, while non-residents are subject to a minimum spend.
The beach club has its own swimming pool overlooking the Mediterranean, bathing platforms, daybeds, restaurant and waiter service, with ladders providing direct access to the sea.
Can you swim directly in the sea from Lures Beach Club?
Yes. Lures Beach Club provides direct access to the Mediterranean from its waterfront bathing platforms, with ladders leading into the sea.
There isn’t a conventional sandy beach, and the water is deep from entry, so guests should be comfortable swimming out of their depth.
For those who prefer a swimming pool, the beach club also has a pool overlooking the sea.
Is Lures Beach Club adults-only?
No. This is an important distinction from the hotel itself.
Lures Hotel is strictly adults-only for resident guests aged 16 and above, but Lures Beach Club welcomes non-residents of all ages, including families with children.
The beach club can therefore have a livelier atmosphere than the resident areas of the hotel, particularly when events or occasional DJ sessions are taking place.
Does Lures Hotel have a swimming pool?
Yes. The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool overlooking the Mediterranean, reserved exclusively for resident guests aged 16 and above.
There is also a separate swimming pool at Lures Beach Club, while several accommodation categories have their own private pools.
The hotel pool, beach club pool and Spa Pool is not heated.
Which rooms at Lures Hotel have private pools?
Several of the larger accommodation categories at Lures have their own private swimming pools.
The Junior Sea View Suites with Private Pool have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and approximately 65m² of internal accommodation, together with a substantial 45m² terrace.
The Senior Suite Garden View with Private Pool offer two bedrooms, generous living accommodation, a kitchenette and particularly extensive outside space.
For couples, the Villa, Sea View with Terrace and Private Pool provide two-storey accommodation, a large private terrace and beautiful Mediterranean views.
None of the private pools are heated.
Which rooms at Lures Hotel have the best sea views?
For guests placing sea views high on their wish list, we particularly like the Superior Sea View Rooms, Deluxe Sea View Rooms with Jacuzzi, Penthouse Suites and Sea View Villas with Private Pools.
The hotel’s hillside position produces some extraordinary widescreen views across the Mediterranean towards Mouse and Snake Islands.
Not every accommodation category has the same outlook, however. Senior Suites are garden-facing and some Junior Suites have more restricted sea views, so we recommend speaking to our team if securing the best possible sea view is important to you.
What is the difference between the room categories at Lures Hotel?
Lures offers an unusually broad range of accommodation.
Superior Sea View Rooms offer approximately 45m² of contemporary accommodation, while Deluxe Sea View Rooms add an outside Jacuzzi. Penthouse Suites range from approximately 45–90m² and combine expansive terraces, Jacuzzis and some of our favourite sea views.
For more space, Junior and Senior Private Pool Suites have two bedrooms and sleep up to four guests. Couples seeking something particularly special can choose a two-storey Sea View Villa, with a private pool and approximately 70m² of outside space.
Our team can help you choose according to what’s most important to you: views, space, private pool or proximity to the hotel’s facilities.
Do the Jacuzzi rooms at Lures have private Jacuzzis?
Yes. The Deluxe Sea View Rooms with Jacuzzi and Penthouse Suites have their own private outdoor Jacuzzi areas.
The Jacuzzis are not permanently filled; guests fill them when they wish to use them.
For couples celebrating a honeymoon, anniversary or special occasion, the combination of a private Jacuzzi and Lures’ extraordinary Mediterranean outlook makes the Penthouse Suites particularly appealing.
Does Lures Hotel have twin rooms?
No. Lures does not currently have twin-bedded accommodation.
This is particularly worth bearing in mind when considering the two-bedroom Junior and Senior Suites. Although they work extremely well for two couples or friends who are happy to share double beds, the second bedrooms cannot be converted into twins.
If separate beds are essential, speak to us and we can recommend alternative accommodation in Kalkan.
Is Lures Hotel good for a honeymoon in Kalkan?
Yes. Lures is one of our favourite Kalkan hotels for a luxury honeymoon or special holiday for two, particularly for couples looking for contemporary design, exceptional sea views, excellent dining and plenty of resort facilities.
We particularly like the Penthouse Suites for their generous terraces, private Jacuzzis and sweeping Mediterranean views, while the Sea View Villas with Private Pools offer even more space and independence.
Add the beach club, spa, restaurants and cocktails overlooking the sea and there is very little reason to leave.
Is Lures Hotel a good alternative to a private villa in Kalkan?
It can be an excellent alternative, particularly for couples who want their own pool and generous private accommodation without giving up the facilities and service of a luxury hotel.
Lures’ two-storey Sea View Villas have a bedroom, two bathrooms, approximately 76m² of internal space, a 70m² terrace and private pool. Basic kitchenette facilities can also be provided for preparing drinks and snacks.
Unlike a standalone villa, however, you also have Lures’ restaurants, bars, beach club, spa, gym, resident swimming pool, breakfast and hotel service on your doorstep.
Is breakfast included at Lures Hotel?
Yes. Breakfast is included for Discerning Collection guests staying at Lures.
A generous buffet breakfast is served with a variety of Turkish breakfast favourites alongside international choices.
If you have allergies, intolerances or particular dietary requirements, let us know before you travel so these can be communicated to the hotel.
What are the restaurants and bars like at Lures Hotel?
Food and drink are a significant part of the Lures experience, with everything from relaxed beach-club dining to more refined evening meals.
The beach club restaurant has an extensive menu of light bites, healthy choices, snacks and larger dishes, including favourites such as dynamite prawns. Drinks range from seasonal freshly pressed juices and shakes to signature cocktails and an excellent selection of wines.
For a more refined evening, Asedo A La Carte Restaurant offers contemporary interpretations of Turkish cuisine accompanied by some exceptional Mediterranean views.
The hotel’s restaurants and bars also welcome non-residents.
Does Lures Hotel serve alcohol?
Yes. Lures has a full drinks offering, including wines, beers, spirits and signature cocktails.
There are also plenty of alcohol-free choices, including seasonal freshly pressed juices and shakes.
Does Lures Hotel have a spa and Turkish hammam?
Yes. Lures has one of the more comprehensive wellness offerings amongst our Kalkan hotels, with a spa, indoor swimming pool, traditional Turkish hammam, sauna, steam room and treatment facilities.
Use of the wellness facilities is available to resident guests, while spa treatments are charged separately.
The indoor swimming pool is not heated.
Does Lures Hotel have a gym?
Yes. Lures has a well-equipped Fitness Centre with modern training equipment, complimentary for resident hotel guests.
The gym is not available to non-residents, making it a particularly useful facility for guests who want to maintain their usual training routine while on holiday.
Can you walk from Lures Hotel into Kalkan?
It is possible, but we don’t think you need to.
Lures sits approximately 2km from central Kalkan, and the area’s steep, hilly terrain means walking into town in the heat won’t appeal to everyone.
Instead, the hotel operates scheduled shuttle services into Kalkan by both road and sea at appointed times throughout the day. Local taxis are also plentiful and efficient, making it very easy to enjoy Kalkan’s Old Town, harbour and restaurants without hiring a car or tackling the hills on foot.
Does Lures Hotel have a boat shuttle into Kalkan?
Yes. One of the most enjoyable ways of travelling between Lures and central Kalkan is the hotel’s scheduled sea shuttle, operating at appointed times during the day.
A road shuttle is also provided, while taxis are readily available for journeys outside the scheduled service.
Schedules can vary, so we recommend checking the current shuttle times with the hotel during your stay.
Do I need a hire car at Lures Hotel?
No. Most guests won’t need one.
Scheduled road and sea shuttles connect Lures with Kalkan at appointed times, while taxis operate efficiently throughout the area.
If you want to explore beyond Kalkan independently — perhaps visiting Patara, Xanthos, Saklıkent or travelling farther along the Lycian Coast — car hire can nevertheless be useful. Parking is available at Lures for guests who choose to hire a vehicle.
Is Lures Hotel suitable for guests with limited mobility?
Lures has a lift within the main hotel building (between some room types) and a golf-buggy service to help guests move around its extensive hillside grounds. The Golf Buggy does run from the building with the lift down to the top of the beach club.
However, the property has been constructed across a steep, terraced site and there are still steps between some areas ( for example top and bottom of beach club). A reasonable degree of mobility is therefore necessary, and we would not describe Lures as completely step-free.
If mobility is a consideration, please speak to our team before booking so we can discuss the hotel’s layout and whether it is suitable for your individual requirements.
Is Lures Hotel suitable for solo travellers?
Yes. Although Lures is particularly popular with couples, its extensive facilities mean solo travellers can also settle in very comfortably.
There is plenty to enjoy without leaving the hotel, including the beach club, spa, gym, pools, restaurants and bars, while the shuttle services make getting into Kalkan straightforward.
Discerning Collection also operates selected special-interest and wellness holidays at Lures, which can be particularly appealing to guests travelling independently, with specific departures sometimes offered without single supplements.
Can non-residents visit Lures Hotel?
Non-residents are welcome at Lures Beach Club and the hotel’s restaurants and bars, although the resident accommodation and certain facilities remain exclusively for hotel guests.
The beach club operates a minimum-spend policy for non-residents, while access is complimentary for guests staying at Lures.
The hotel’s resident-only swimming pool and Fitness Centre are not available to outside visitors.
Can I book Lures Hotel with flights and airport transfers?
Yes. Discerning Collection can arrange Lures as a flight-inclusive holiday or without flights, depending on how you prefer to travel.
Our advertised Lures holidays include accommodation, breakfast and return transfers from Dalaman Airport, while accommodation-only arrangements can also be made.
Where flights form part of your Discerning Collection package, applicable ATOL protection is provided. Client monies also benefit from financial protection through our independently held Trust Account administered with PT Trustees Limited.
How far is Lures Hotel from Dalaman Airport?
Lures is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes by road from Dalaman International Airport, depending on traffic and road conditions.
Return Dalaman Airport transfers are included in our advertised Discerning Collection Lures hotel arrangements.
Do I have to stay at Lures Hotel for 7 or 14 nights?
No. Although we commonly advertise 7- and 14-night holidays because these are the durations many guests prefer, flexible stays can also be arranged at Lures, subject to availability.
If you’d like a shorter break, 10 or 11 nights, an extended stay or wish to combine Kalkan with another part of Turkey, speak to us and we can tailor the holiday accordingly.
