Airlines We Use

Unlike many tour operators we do not commit to one particular airline to fly you, our guests, to our lovely destinations. Instead, we prefer to give you a choice of which airport you’d like to travel from, on what day you’d like to travel on and also for exactly how long you’d like to holiday for. Gone are the days when the norm was a seven or fourteen night holiday in the sun. Now our guests are, quite rightly, are demanding more flexible lengths of holiday and also more convenient local airports to fly from.

At Discerning Collection we leave the choice up to you and we will endeavour to provide you with exactly the day, airport and length of holiday that you want. It’s your holiday not ours and we don’t see why anyone should be restricted to flying on any given day. With some hotels and certainly gulets, the day of departure may depend on the date of when the hotel has availability or when the gulet has to sail. However, we have negotiated with all our hotels and they have accepted that they will receive guests on any day of arrival. Gulet sailings still remain on Saturdays however and this is one exception to our new rule.

Currently our airline partners include British Airways, TUI, Jet2, Easyjet and Turkish Airlines among others. However, we are happy to use any recognised  airline that will get our guests to their destination in a timely manner and with a highly reliable level of service.

With these airlines, we also give you the flexibility to choose how much luggage you take, if you would like to pre-book seats or those with extra leg room, and in flight meals if offered.

Baby Bundles (Turkey only)

As part of our pre-departure concierge service, we can arrange a range of items to make travelling with little ones as easy as possible, including cots (excluding linen), highchairs, car seats, baby monitors, changing mats and sterilisers.

To help you travel lighter, we can also arrange essentials such as nappies to be ready for your arrival.

Car hire (Turkey, Greece and Mallorca)

Although car hire is essential for some of our more rural properties, sometimes it is ideal to have a car just for a few days in more central locations to explore the surrounding scenery.  We can arrange car hire in Turkey, the Greek Islands and Mallorca.

 

Car parking, airport hotels and lounges

Please let us know if you require car parking, airport loungers or and airport hotel at your preferred UK airport and we will be happy to quote this for you.  We can also book access to the CIP lounge at Dalaman airport, Turkey.

 

In Villa Dining (Kalkan, Turkey)

While each of our villas is well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, many guests prefer to relax and let someone else take care of things.

As part of our pre-departure concierge service, we can assist with arranging in-villa dining, from simple lunches by the pool to more elaborate, fully catered evenings. Alternatively, you are very welcome to contact our recommended local suppliers directly, who will be happy to create menus tailored to your preferences.

We work with a carefully selected group of trusted providers, each chosen for their quality and reliability, helping to elevate your villa experience into something truly special.

We recommend booking ahead of your departure date to ensure availability, particularly during the peak summer months.

We are happy to arrange bookings for larger groups, be it a larger family looking for a villa, a birthday celebration or a business meeting, our team will take the stress of organizing group bookings off your hands.  In Turkey we have villas that can sleep up to 16 guests, and Morocco, we have a variety of beautiful riads of different sizes, just perfect for a long weekend away with a group of friends.  In all of our destinations, we can pre-book, meals, entertainment and excursions for you group.

With our knowledge of the area, we can suggest and secure the most suitable options based on your preferences, ensuring everything is in place ahead of your arrival.

 

Shopping: Home Delivery Servive (Turkey villas)

As part of our dedicated pre-departure concierge service, we offer a comprehensive shopping delivery service for our villas in Kalkan.

In addition to your welcome hamper, we can arrange anything from a few essentials to a full grocery shop, ready for your arrival so you can settle in with ease.

Please contact us ahead of departure to discuss your requirements and place your order. A service fee applies, typically in the region of £25–£40, depending on the size of the shop.

 

Spa treatments

Many of our hotels offer a thoughtfully curated selection of spa treatments and wellness rituals, designed to enhance your stay.
