For those of you who have had fresh Baklava in Turkey and have forgotten to buy some in the local shop or market to bring home as presents….here’s a little tip for really good quality stuff available at Dalaman or Istanbul airport. The makers name is Karakoy Gulluoglu and the flavour is Baklava with walnut….delicious and about £10 for 500 gram box, which is overpriced…. but great quality.

Aslan and Huseyin, our Turkish partners flew over today and brought us a box…the boys and girls in the office finished them in under 8 minutes! I was lucky to get a square and am still feeling an intense longing for more as I write this!
