Villa Rosy; a real-life barbie sanctuary with mesmerising Mediterranean seascape views

Villa Rosy is a beautiful hillside escape with jaw-dropping views over the Mediterranean and yet only 4-5 minutes by taxi from the picturesque harbour town of Kalkan. Its hillside location affords a seaside breeze which is especially welcome during the hottest months of July and August. For a sea-facing villa with oodles of outside space, plenty of mod-cons and alfresco villa facilities you can’t go wrong with the edgy Villa Rosy. This spacious house overlooks mouse and snake islands to the west of Kalkan and it has a desirable location surveying the bay yet withing easy reach of all amenities. With four bedrooms, two storeys and an enormous infinity pool a piece, it is ideal for a special celebration, group of friends travelling together or family sharing.
You approach the villa by Hollywood- style marble steps and a bright pink gate which lead up to the front door. To the front of the house is an enormous terrace overlooking the sea surrounding a large rectangular infinity pool, adjacent is a separate jacuzzi, the terrace is dotted with many super-squishy day beds and sun loungers. To the rear of the villa is a table tennis corner, lawned garden and second alfresco sitting area.
The spacious interior has four large ensuite bedrooms set over two floors, each of which is individually designed and they all have furnished balconies or terraces with more widescreen views to sea. Downstairs, the open plan sitting room, dining and kitchen is crisp white and has been artfully paired with minimal, comfortable furnishings and chic fittings some of which are marshmallow-pink. The décor is soft and neutral creating a sophisticated and tasteful ambience, while providing every creature comfort one could wish for. Whitewashed walls and high ceilings combine to provide a feeling of light throughout, while lengthy windows imbibe the beautiful scenery. Outside a covered veranda provides some much-needed respite from the intense summer glare, the delightful alfresco dining and sitting area is the perfect space to watch the sun slink behind the hillside while listening to the soothing hum of cicadas. The competitive amongst your party will love the shaded table tennis corner.
