Uninterrupted sea views in the heart of Taormina

Originally built in the 1970’s, the Monte Tauro has undergone a huge renovation, transforming it into the contemporary, stylish hotel that it is now.  Perched on the edge of the cliffside with panoramic sea view, yet strolling distance to the buzz of Taormina’s charming town, this hotel is in a superb location.

Spread over 9 floors, all of the 98 modern rooms enjoy the sweeping sea views  from their private terrace or balcony, and all are furnished in soft, neutral tones, highlighting the azure blues of the Ionian sea and sky.

Breakfast is served on the top floor, once again making the most of the magical views of Giardini Naxos Bay over to Mount Etna. Lunch is also available at the poolside T Grill restaurant and in the evenings the bars and restaurants and trattorias of Taormina are only moments away.

Taking the lift down to the pool is a treat in itself, this external glass lift only reinforces the fabulous location, and the large inviting swimming pool, complete with hydromassage is the perfect remedy from the heat of the Sicilian afternoon sun, before popping into town for a spot of shopping or a delicious meal at one of the many local trattorias and smart restaurants in Taormina.
