Argos in Cappadocia
The Argos in Cappadocia enjoys an elevated position in Uchisar, the highest point in the region with awe-inspiring panoramic views over the unusual Cappadocian terrain below.
The hotel which itself was once a monastery then a linseed oil factory, is made up for four mansion-like buildings, connected by age-old underground tunnels and has been carefully renovated into a magnificent boutique hotel.
There are 53 rooms and suites in total, each unique but equally stunning, with antiques and beautiful kilims dotted around. Many of the rooms have their own balconies, terraces or gardens; a wonderful spot to relax with a book or simply gaze out at the magical lunar landscape below.
For those in search of ultimate luxury, the ‘Splendid Suites’ each boast private indoor cave pools.
The restaurant at Argos in Cappadocia serves exquisite Turkish and international fare and also has a huge wine cellar for those wishing to try a selection of local Cappadocian wine.
