Once a simple guesthouse, the Likya Gardens Hotel has been totally transformed into a beach front boutique hotel comprising of just 12 spacious suites, two 2 bedroom villas and two 3 bedroom villas.
Likya Gardens surveys, the Bay of Kalkan and looks out across the inky waters to Hotel Villa Mahal on the far side of the Bay. The stunning and quiet waterfront location is ideal for couples seeking a peaceful escape with plenty of privacy. It’s also one of our favourite hideaways for honeymoons in Kalkan — combining effortless elegance, private pools and a serene seafront setting made for two.
Likya Gardens and Likya Beach Club prides itself on offering the highest levels of service to select guests.
Boasting one of the best locations in Kalkan, this reinvented boutique property is reached via a small lane which to Kalkan’s westerly shore, and has a secluded position overlooking the sea, yet it is still possible to walk into the main part of town. The boutique hotel is spread across the hillside and offers the opportunity to relax either by your private pool or by the sea, with an attentive and discreet service provided by hotel staff.
All but 6 rooms have their own private swimming pool. New for 2022 are four chic- beachside style villas complete with their own private swimming pools. Built over two floors with the bedrooms on the first floors. In addition, there are 4 new deluxe pool rooms, situated in the gardens with their own plunge pools and those delightful sea views. All the rooms are spacious, light and airy and have a wonderful laid back feel.
In the original building there are 6 rooms without pool, each has a balcony with sea views and complimentary use of the hotel’s private waterfront and bathing platforms. In the main building there is the Penthouse Jacuzzi Suite with its gorgeous views and its own-roof top Jacuzzi and the Signature Pool room on the ground floor, is always a favourite choice with our regular guests.
Breakfast is served in a shaded area at the Likya Beach Club and features a delightful Mediterranean buffet and some daily specials. Light lunches are available at the hotel’s private waterfront known as the Likya Beach Club. A short walk back along the coastal road will take you to a plethora of wonderful restaurants in Kalkan. Alternatively both the Likya Pavilion, Likya Residence and Asfiya Sea View hotels are close by and both have renowned restaurants.
Pretty steps lead down from Likya Gardens Terrace to the waterfront below where there are private cabanas – one for each of the villas – to enjoy the beachfront in utter seclusion. They are inspired by the Caribbean and give a hippy chic beachfront vibe that is instantly relaxing. The whitewashed, wooden cabanas are individually decorated and each has a sun lounger as well of course die-for views out over the Mediterranean.
The waterfront beach club offers easy access to the sea with sun-loungers, diving platforms and parasols dotted here and there. There is towel and waiter service to the beach club and cabanas with light refreshments including snacks and cooling drinks.

The Likya Gardens offers a delicious a la carte breakfast on the terrace every morning- served under the shade of a pergola. Enjoy a delicious selection of Turkish and Mediterranean dishes together with eggs, omelettes and pancakes cooked freshly to order.
The Likya Beach Club and Private Cabanas- Complimentary Access
A newly-created private beach club operates exclusively for use of the guests residing at The Likya Gardens and The Likya Pavilion. Accessed from The Likya Gardens, a single path leads through a maze of whitewashed timber alleys built into the cliff face down towards the beach club below. Stylish decking extends across the water’s edge and there is direct access to the sea for wonderful snorkelling and swimming, while wooden loungers, neutral parasols and quirky diving platforms are scattered at intervals.
Guests in the villas enjoy a private, beachside cabana to soak up the sea in utter privacy. Caribbean-inspired, the wooden cabanas are individually decorated with whitewashed surfaces. Each has loungers and open views onto the glorious expanse of Mediterranean.
The Likya Beach Club has a little restaurant serving light bites, main events and drinks throughout the day (it is closed in the evening). Thereafter for dinner guests can visit the nearby Likya Pavilion restaurant and Likya Residence or alternatively, stroll into the charming village of Kalkan, known for its superb choice of waterside restaurants and elegant roof top terraces.
The Adda Boat
Board an elegant, grey-hulled motor cruiser from Kalkan harbour and enjoy a wonderfully relaxed day at sea, meandering along the majestic coastline and beyond. Throughout the day, the Adda boat glides from secluded cove to tranquil bay, with plenty of opportunities to swim in the crystal-clear waters.
This is a fully catered experience, with a Turkish feast of seasonal dishes served on board. Lunch is a generous selection of freshly prepared meze, accompanied by your choice of fish, chicken or köfte.

The Penthouse Jacuzzi Suite Simena, is located at the highest point of the hotel and is set over two floors. Entrance is onto a small quirky sitting area, large glass doors open onto a rooftop jacuzzi terrace with decked platform. Inside, a staircase leads to the double bedroom complete with en-suite shower and w/c.

The Penthouse jacuzzi suite provides guests with plenty of privacy and quite simply the most staggering sea views over the bat. Whilst the Jacuzzi isn’t quite a pool, it is ideal for a cooling dip with a cocktail or two.

The four new deluxe pool suites are bright and airy with en-suite bathrooms. Large floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto a private terraces, complete with plunge pool and magnificent views out to sea and across the bay.

The Garden Pool Suite Limyra is surrounded by dense foliage and colourful gardens and enjoys sweeping views across the bay of Kalkan and also benefits from a good-size sea facing infinity pool. Decorated in crisp, neutral tones with contemporary fixtures and fittings and a smattering of artefacts throughout, the Garden Pool Suites is ideal for those who relish inside-outside living. Step out through floor-to-ceiling sliding windows into your very own private pool and terrace, ideal for spending lazy days imbibing the sea views.

The Signature Pool Suite, Patara is a spacious double-bedded suite which opens out onto a private pool terrace with gorgeous sea views. There is decking on two sides of the suite and surrounds the large pool.

Two brand new semi-detached 2 bedroom villas with sea views and private pools built on two floors with a double bedroom with balcony and sea views and a twin bedroom overlooking the garden. On the ground floor there is a sitting room with floor to ceiling glass doors that open up on to the sundeck and private pool. Arycanda and Sidyma - 3 bedroom villas with private pool
The stunning Arycanda and Sidyma are two brand new and spacious villas located adjacent to the water’s edge in a quiet corner of Kalkan bay. These private residences boast three beautiful en-suite bedrooms, a large and contemporary open plan living space including kitchenette, dining space and sitting room all of which are tastefully decorated in neutral tones. Large glass doors imbibe the swimming pool and surrounding serene gardens. Outside, the pool deck and alfresco living space provides plenty of space to relax and bask under sunny Turkish skies.
