We are delighted to introduce Villa La Vie in Kalkan. This recently renewed five bedroom villa sleeps up to 10 guests and enjoys a stunning position in the desirable Komurluk area of Kalkan, just a ten minute stroll from the harbour. Among its finest features are the widescreen views across the bay. In addition to the glorious views the villa benefits from spacious outside terraces ideal for making the most of the Mediterranean alfresco lifestyle. Some of the villa highlights include; 2 outdoor jacuzzies, swimming pool with plenty of areas for lounging and loafing, table tennis, a games room, fitness room, sauna and hammam. In addition to the wonderful villa facilities the closest beach clubs are Zest and Palm located just down the hill!

Lower ground floor

Entrance is via a gate located at street level, should you have car hire there is on street parking. On entrance level is a fitness room with simple gym equipment which includes: bike, elliptical bike, treadmill, weights, and Pilates apparatus. Stairs lead up to the ground floor and pool level. On the far side of this space a staircase leads down to a television and games room with sofa bed there is also an en suite with bath. Highlights of the games room includes: PlayStation 4, or indulge in a curated selection of classic board and card games. For those with a competitive streak, the table football setup promises hours of spirited fun.

Ground Floor

The open plan kitchen and living area is located on the ground floor, large and airy interiors are balanced by a neutral palette dotted with splashes of colour.  The fully fitted kitchen is elegantly designed with marble worksurfaces and has all the utensils needed to create a culinary extravaganza. There is also a large dining and seating area perfect for gathering and a cosy sitting room with IPTV the perfect spot to recline should you require some respite from the sun. Floor to ceiling windows create the effect of inside-outside-living and open onto the pool and alfresco dining terrace. The dining terrace and dedicated barbecue areas is sheltered by a shady veranda. Inside and also on ground floor level is a sauna (suitable for 4-6 guests) and guest shower and W/C.

Also on this level is a good size en suite double bedroom with floor- to- ceiling glass doors that lead onto the pool terrace.

First Floor

A staircase leads from the ground to the first floor. The first floor is home to the hammam and 3 further bedrooms, 2 double and 1 twin bedroom complete with two single beds.

The second bedroom is large with a king size bed, roomy dressing area and en-suite shower and w/c. Floor to ceiling glass doors imbibe the stunning glistening sea views and a furnished terrace complete with tables and chairs is the perfect spot to drink in the views.

Also on this level is a twin bedroom ideal for friends or children sharing. Again the room is bright and airy and glass doors lead onto a furnished terrace which is shared with the bedroom next door. A cushioned seating area is the perfect place to cosy up with a good book or simply sit back and admire the views. While the twin bedroom does not have an en-suite there is a shower room across the hallway which has been designed for this room to use.

On this floor, a hidden door from the twin bedroom’s ensuite leads to a serene Turkish bath (Hammam), offering a truly authentic retreat experience. Just steps away, an outdoor infinity Jacuzzi awaits—designed for 6-8 guests to soak up the views in lavish comfort. With built-in ice buckets for perfectly chilled refreshments, this indulgent sanctuary is crafted for pure relaxation and luxury at every turn.

The fourth bedroom also features a king size double bed and an en-suite shower and w/c. Floor-to- ceiling glass doors lead onto the furnished terrace which is shared with the twin bedroom and again affords sensational views to sea.

Second floor

The second floor is home to the master bedroom, featuring a a queen size bed and en-suite shower and w/c. Glass sliding doors open onto the roof terrace which boasts  probably the most sensational views in the entire house, it really is the only place to be when golden hour comes. This glorious space is furnished with tables and chairs and is the perfect place to linger as the sun sets on another glorious day at Villa La Vie.

Also on the second floor is a second entrance to the property which is accessed by a stone step staircase that leads down from the road above, where another parking space can also be found.

Outside

The house is sea facing and enjoys spacious terraces offering plenty of space to make the most of the glorious Turkish climate. The saltwater swimming pool is the focal point of the garden, effortlessly chic with many furnished surrounding decks dressed with loungers and parasols. There are also two outdoor jacuzzi’s one of which is shaded providing respite from the intense glare this is located on a first floor balcony whereas the other jacuzzi is located at pool level. There is also a covered veranda with shaded dining area made for socialising and a barbecue for long leisurely lunches gathering with friends and family.

If you have a late flight then it may be possible to extend your stay at the villa (depending on when the next guests are arriving) alternatively we can arrange for you to have lunch/dinner at one of our hotels and use the facilities during the afternoon prior to your transfer back to the airport.

Please note that due to the property being set over many levels and due to the steep waterfront position this villa is not suitable to persons with limited mobility.

Pool Heating
Pool Heating supplement, £400 per week for the main pool and two jacuzzi pools.

Damage Deposit

You must ensure that the property is securely locked when not occupied during the holiday let. You must replace any breakages, damage or losses, and/or reimburse the property owner for such breakages, damage or losses as stipulated by the property owner or key holder. A £750 damage deposit is payable to The Discerning Collection is due prior to arrival and this will be returned one week after check out providing all is in order.
