Serenity 86
There is no better way to experience Turkey’s stunning turquoise coast than meandering between hidden bays and inlets on board a private charter of Serenity 86
A traditional Turkish gulet was originally used for fishing or cargo. Nowadays, they are custom-built twin mastered ketches designed for a somewhat difference purpose. Especially those of a higher specification such as those we feature.
We feel it wouldn’t be right to over-emphasise the luxury of a gulet; the idea is to provide a comfortable base with mod cons and some creature comforts- to enjoy the stunning seascapes while benefiting from the friendly and efficient service from the crew. However the feedback from our guests confirms that the quality and service delivered by our small fleet of gulets is truly special.
At 26 metres with spacious decks and only four beautifully furnished cabins Serenity 86 is the perfect choice for a family or groups of friends escaping to sea together. There is plenty of space on the roomy decks to cosy up in a quiet corner with a good book or admire the views with a sense of utter solitude. The shiny teak deck is seriously classy and provides a high standard of onboard comfort.
Days are spent meandering from quiet inlet to hidden bay with plenty of stops for refreshing dips. For those seeking activity the boat does have working sails and there are also a choice of motorised water sports for the thrill seekers in the group. There is a balance between life spent at sea and mooring in small ports and harbours where there is an opportunity to hop ashore and soak up the local ambience.

Gulet holidays: Good to know
What you don’t need to bring:
High heels (you can’t wear shoes on deck; flats and sandals are definitely bets for going ashore. Either you will be getting off by tender onto a beach or jetty or you will be negotiating a gangplank)
Lots of clothes- life aboard is very informal
Beach towels and bathroom towels
What you might like to bring:
Snorkel and slippers
Plenty of suncream and after sun as well as mosquito repellent (just in case)
Pashmina or jumper if travelling in May and October as it can get chilly on deck in the evenings.
