For us Athens, is an absolute must and it’s a destination that can be enjoyed year round. In winter you will enjoy the thriving markets and Christmas spirit while in the autumn, spring and summer you can make the most of the Mediterranean climate and vibrant cafe culture.

While Athens is most well known for being the cradle of democracy and for it’s rich, historical core, there is so much more to this intriguing city than just the acropolis – of course that being said, a visit to Athens would of course be incomplete without a visit to the Parthenon and Acropolis museum.

In addition to history, Athens showcases an array of multicultural festivals together with events, rooftop bars, elegant eateries and quintessential tavernas, an edgy art scene, farmers markets and it is only a short distance to the Athens Riviera for days you wish to kickback sea-side. In the summer time we recommend catching a concert in one of the amphitheaters for a truly unique experience. And when it comes to dining out you will be absolutely spoilt for choice, Greek cuisine in Athens has really evolved so as well as finding authentic- no-frill favorite’s, gastronomists are spoilt with experimental modern Greek restaurants too.
