New to The Discerning Collection for the 2024 season; we are delighted to reveal Villa Çalıkuşu. A contemporary 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom villa with fabulously bold interiors and spacious surrounds. The focal point and place to gather is the large infinity sea-facing pool and surrounding terraces. This is the perfect choice for a multi-generational family villa holiday or a group of friends travelling together.

Villa Çalıkuşu enjoys an elevated hillside position in Kalamar bay, the steep location means the villa benefits from some of the most enviable seascape views in the entire region. For those seeking beach clubs, the closest to the villa are the new Lures, Kulube and Kalamar bay (all are located around a 10 minute stroll downhill from the villa) and Kalkan harbour is only a 4-5 minute drive by taxi

Ground Floor

Entrance is into a bright and spacious hallway with large seating area and sea-facing views. The ground floor features a generous open plan living space, including sitting room with SMART TV, well-equipped kitchen, island and large dining area. Floor to ceiling glass doors open onto the large infinity pool and jacuzzi terrace. There is also a shaded pergola under which is a sizeable alfresco dining area together with en-plein-air kitchenette ideal for long evenings grazing around the barbecue.

Also on entrance level is the first of the five en-suite bedrooms: bedroom 3, featuring a double bedroom, with King size bed, and a vanity area matching the beds headboard. There is also an ensuite bathroom with cutting-edge feature walls and a private, furnished sea-facing balcony.

First Floor

A staircase leads to the first floor. On this level is Bedroom1 the first master double showcasing lots of owner-inspired personal touches (colour schemes and unique features). This master suite enjoys a decorative hanging chair and free-standing bathtub. The king size bed takes center stage and enjoys glorious sea views, there is also a separate shower and WC. Large glass doors imbibe the magnificent sea views and open onto the beautifully furnished balcony.

Also on this level are 2 further bedrooms. The  second double bedroom has olive soft furnishings and features a king size bed along with a vanity area, ensuite bathroom and private, furnished balcony.
The fifth bedroom is a twin ensuite bedroom with two single beds and a quirky tangerine theme. This bedroom is ideal for friends or children sharing and just like the others has plenty of space inside and out, it too has a furnished balcony.

Lower Ground Floor

The fourth bedroom is the second master with a king size bed, comfy seating area and dressing table. This bedroom also features ensuite bathroom and a private, furnished balcony complete with an alfresco Jacuzzi bath.

Outside

Outside, Villa Çalıkuşu affords stunning seascape vistas from virtually every aspect. Guests will love the sea-facing infinity swimming pool and jacuzzi the perfect space to refresh while basking under sunny Kalkan skies. There is also a sizeable alfresco dining area thoughtfully positioned under the shade of a pergola. There is also an en plein air kitchenette so its not necessary to keep coming and going from the kitchen if you don’t want to. There is also a BBQ for leisurely poolside lunches. The surrounding pool terraces are beautifully furnished with plenty of day beds, parasols, hammocks and even a swing!!

If you have a late flight then it may be possible to extend your stay at the villa (depending on when the next guests are arriving) alternatively we can arrange for you to have lunch/dinner at one of our hotels and use the facilities during the afternoon prior to your transfer back to the airport.
