New to us for the 2023 season, Mein Schatz is a sleek and chic gulet providing exemplary levels of onboard service together with unprecedented space and comfort.
A gulet cruise is our favourite way to discover the magnificence of the Turquoise coast. It provides a reverse angle on this stunning and dramatic coastline, glancing back to shore you can truly appreciate the vista of thick pine forest dripping down to meet inky blue sea. What’s more, you can luxuriate in pristine inlets and discover remote bays that are only available to those in the know.
Inside, Mein Schatz boasts glossy wooden interiors and a large saloon space. Sleeping quarters are wonderfully spacious, she has 5 en-suite cabins, two master doubles, two further doubles and a twin perfect for friends or children sharing. The cabins are air conditioned and also have shower and W/C facilities.
The gulets we feature are available to charter from May through to October, operating on several different routes for stays of 7 nights on Turkey’s Turquoise coast. A private gulet charter is a bucket-list experience for many and is ideal for a group of friends or extended family sharing, for special events or birthdays that happen perhaps once in a lifetime. The experienced captain, chef and crew oversee day-to-day operations – guests simply sit back and soak up the scenes while the team bring together the exceptional and beautiful into the voyage.
Every charter has the option for a fully catered experience with fresh, traditional Turkish and Mediterranean fayre starting with a selection of brightly coloured seasonal mezes, followed by a fish, meat or vegetable main event.
The large furnished teak decks provide plenty of space to relax and unwind in either the shade or sunshine. For the more active, there is a selection of exhilarating water sports as well as sea-kayaks paddle boards and so on. Days are spent meandering effortlessly from cove to bay with a balance of life spent at sea and mooring in small harbours and ports where there is an opportunity to explore local villages, markets and historical sites on route.
